Here are a number of our herring machines.

Model MFB,

Fieret Maatjes (young herring) cleaning machine model MFB is especially suited for processing fatty young herring from pail and (ocean deepfreeze) packs.
Minimal water consumption.
The unit is entirely of stainless steel and plastic. The head and abdomen of the herring must be removed manually.
After skinning the backfin must be removed. Capacity 1,000 to 1,500 young herring per hour. The sealer cap on top is of Plexiglas and can be opened and closed with a flick of the wrist. Operated by 2 people (incl. packaging work). Requires a minimum of maintenance. The machine is very small in dimension and is easy to move about. Included is a vacuum pump of 1.5 kW with a barrel (150 litres) for suctioning off the skins. A packaging belt for 2 persons is available as an accessory. Capacity is approximately 0.75 kW Supply voltage 400 V 50Hz. 1 year guarantee.

Model MFB,

Fieret Maatjes cleaning machine model MFS

Maatjes cleaning with deheader and skinning machine (latest model).

Machine entirely stainless steel and plastic.

The feed is linked to the carrying belt, self-adjusting for smaller and larger herring. Guide between the cutting blades is also self-adjusting for smaller and larger herring. Heavier bearing rings for vertical cutting blades (150mm cutting blades) Bearing rings can be replaced with a flick of the wrist. Head belt and skinning machine are run by a drum motor.

After skinning the backfin should be removed.

Capacity approximately 90 per minute

Self-adjusting to size (only head of large and small must be adjusted, piece units 4/6 to 6/9 per kg.

Vacuum pump 1.5 kW is included. With barrel (150 litres) for suctioning up the skins.

Available as an accessory: waste blower (stainless steel and plastic) this can be built under the cutting part (requires compressed air)

Model SKM,

Fieret Maatjes cleaning machine model SKM The newest maatjes cleaning machine with abdomen cutter and possible deheader. Very minimal water consumption.

The entire unit is of stainless steel and plastic.
The sealer cap on top is of Plexiglas, can be opened and closed in the flick of a wrist.
Capacity of the machine is approximately 2500 per hour.
Operated by 2 people (incl. packaging work).
Vacuum pump included of 1.5 kW. With barrel (150 litres) for suctioning away the skins.
This machine can be delivered either with or without deheader.
(Abdomen cutter with infeed filleter is one unit), deheader can be connected if desired.

Capacity is approximately 1 kW filleter and 0.65 kW deheader (turntable).
Supply voltage 400 Volt 50 Hz.

Model MWN

Fieret Skinning machine model MWN

Fieret has developed an entirely innovative model of skinning machine.
This skinning machine model "Fieret MWN' is ideal for skinning both large and small herring fillets. Pre-pickled and salted herring fillets can also be skinned easily.
A characteristic advantage is that the skins and the backfin are suctioned away by vacuum.

The machine is operated by one or two people and a capacity of 50 to 100 herring fillets is realised per minute.
